Kodak has added to its range of EasyShare products with a new digital camera that one site claims has everything you need.
According to the Boston Herald’s website, Kodak has been around for long enough to see some major changes in the photographic industry, but adds that the firm is still a market leader in the sector.
It considers the ten-megapixel Kodak EasyShare M1033 as one of these and praises its 3x zoom lens, three-inch display and support for SD memory cards.
The article adds that the camera, which is available in red, pink, pewter, black, silver and dark grey, is just one of a number of models Kodak have launched of late that put it ahead of some major competitors.
“Kodak has now been creeping back into the market with its Easy Share cameras which give anyone the ability to share their pictures with the world,” the site concludes.
The other models in the company’s range include the ten-megapixel Kodak EasyShare V1073 and the 8.2-megapixel Kodak EasyShare Z812.

The latest entry into Kodak’s range of digital cameras is a compact model that makes the most of the manufacturer’s image capture technology.
Incorporating Smart Capture - which Kodak state “instantly adjusts the camera settings to help ensure brilliant pictures in virtually any environment” - the Kodak Easyshare M1093 is expected to be available later in the year.
Slippery Brick reports that the new ten-megapixel model is equipped with image stabilisation and Kodak’s Retinar All-Glass Aspheric Lens as well as 3x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom.
However, it adds that one of the camera’s “most prevalent features” is Kodak Smart Capture and that blur reduction, face detection and a 3,200 ISO can also be expected.
Another 10-megapixel model in the Kodak range is the Kodak Easyshare V1073, which is also enabled for full high definition - or HD - photography and video.
The camera is available on its own as well as in range of packages that include memory cards and carry cases, among other accessories.

Kodak’s latest image stabilisation and smart capture technology has the ability to produce brilliant pictures that could otherwise have been missed, according to one expert.
In a recent statement accompanying the launch of the Kodak Easyshare M1093, a spokesman for the company said the new system was giving photographers at all levels the chance to take great snaps.
The Smart Capture system, which is capable of instantaneous setting adjustment in order to capture the best result “in virtually any environment”, is something Kodak’s general manager of digital Capture and devices John Blake believes can benefit all users.
“The Smart Capture feature available on our latest digital cameras … lets consumers capture moments that would have otherwise been missed, thanks to its intuitive and automatic scene detection and setting control,” he said.
The Kodak Easyshare V1073 Black is a 10.1-megapixel model which is also equipped with a Smart Capture mode and image stabilisation.

Kodak has added to its range of Easyshare digital cameras with a new model that the manufacturer claims is a “powerhouse”.
The series, which includes the 8.2-megapixel Kodak Easyshare Z812 IS and ten-megapixel Kodak Easyshare V1073, now has a new entry - the Kodak Easyshare M1093 IS.
It is claimed that the new camera will offer sleek design to impress fashion-conscious buyers, but will still offer a range of high quality features.
Commenting on the launch, Eastman Kodak Company’s general manager of digital capture and devices and vice president, John Blake, said the model would allow users to take the most “beautiful pictures”.
“The Smart Capture feature available on our latest digital cameras … lets consumers capture moments that would have otherwise been missed, thanks to its intuitive and automatic scene detection and setting control,” he said.
The Kodak Easyshare V1073 is another model that makes use of the manufacturer’s Smart Capture mode.

In addition to the launch of the Kodak Easyshare M1093 IS, the manufacturer has announced a new model that offers plenty of zoom.
This week the company added to models such as the 8.2-megapixel Kodak Easyshare Z812 IS and ten-megapixel Kodak Easyshare V1073 with another ten-megapixel model - M1093 IS - and has made yet another addition to the range.
However, it has further added to this series with the launch of the new Z-Series model. The Kodak Easyshare Z1015 IS digital camera is built with long-distance and wide-angle shots in mind and offers a 15x optical zoom.
John Blake, general manager of digital capture and devices and vice president for the Eastman Kodak Company, said: “This latest addition to the Easyshare System family enables consumers to effortlessly get a brilliant shot every time.”
The units lens is a Schneider Kreuznach Variogon optical model that is also equipped with image stabilisation technology.
The 8.2-megapixel Kodak Easyshare Z812 IS is also equipped with a Schneider Kreuznach Variogon lens capable of up to 12x optical zoom.

Kodak has added to its range of compact digital cameras with a new model that builds on its existing technologies.
The manufacturer has announced the launch of the Kodak Easyshare M1033, which is a ten-megapixel model that adds to other compact digital cameras in the range including the Kodak Easyshare Z1275 and
Kodak Easyshare V1233.
It is reported that Kodak’s new model could be the ideal point-and-shoot model and the company’s marketing director Paul Johns believes that this down to the level of experience the firm has in the sector.
“For 120 years, Kodak has helped consumers capture life-long memories and now, in this digital age, it all comes to life in this camera that allows users to take quality pictures easily, affordably and without compromise,” he states.
The Kodak Easyshare M1033 is equipped with Smart Capture technology, Intelligent Scene Detection, Face Detection and Intelligent Image Processing, among other features.

Two new digital photo frames from Kodak have been praised for taking the technology to the next level.
It is reported this week by electricpig. co. uk that digital photo frames were “the boom product of last year” and that manufacturers such as Kodak have allowed them to evolve.
It states that the eight-inch Kodak Easyshare M820 and ten-inch Kodak Easyshare M1020 are among the current models that offer extra features such as built in speakers and mp3 playback.
The review adds that the M820 and M1020 frames are not only “multimedia playback devices” but look the part in most surroundings.
“[The panels look] pretty swish in white, but you can choose from Cranberry Red and silver as well, or buy one of Kodak’s fancy Digital Frame Faceplates to clip on the front,” the article states.
IT Pro reported recently that Microsoft was adding to its new satellite navigation system by allowing it to act as a digital frame when in standby mode.

The latest digital camera from Kodak not only adds to an established range but could also be “the iPhone of digital cameras”, it has been suggested.
According to a recent article for idealo. co. uk, the Kodak Easyshare V1273 may be “quite inconspicuous” but beneath its dark and minimalist exterior lurks a powerful camera.
It is claimed that the innovative model shares a number of traits with Apple’s iconic iPhone in as much as it offers cool, slim design and a three-inch touch screen LCD interface.
“Beside the plain design the [camera] offers state of the art features and works at a resolution of 12 megapixel allowing stunning prints up to 30 x 40 inches,” the review adds.
In addition to the Kodak Easyshare V1273, the manufacturer has a number of other models in the range that could suit those with more modest needs, including the 7.1-megapixel Kodak Easyshare ZD710.

Now could be the time to buy your Kodak digital camera as the manufacturer has announced that price rises can be expected in the future.
The company has recently announced on its website that the rising cost of fuel, as well as raw materials including silver and aluminium, could cause some products to come with a higher price tag in the future.
It is noted that the rises would be dependent on geography and would not take effect until next month - which could causes some buyers to snap up a Kodak bargain while they are still hot.
The Guardian also reports that Kodak chief executive Antonio Perez believes that the as oil prices have “doubled” and aluminium and silver costs are up by around “75 per cent” more manufacturers are likely to follow.
It was recently reported that Which Frame? had awarded Kodak the title of Best Wi-Fi Frame and Best Multimedia Frame for its Easyshare panels.
Among the frames praised were the eight-inch EX811, ten-inch EX1011 and the seven-inch P720.

According to the South Florida Sun Sentinel, very often it can be difficult to shop for the Dad who “has everything” but notes that help is at hand for those who are prepared to “go crazy” with that special gift.
