Canon MD235 ‘is a versatile camcorder’
28 Mar 2008

The Canon MD235 camcorder is “versatile”, the manufacturer has claimed.
Featuring an “easy-to-use joystick controller, as well as a microphone input and 45x advanced zoom, the camera claims to “capture more detail than ever before”.
Widescreen video can be recorded on mini DV tapes in 16:9 format, while an electronic image stabiliser helps to eliminate any shaky movement.
The camera’s microphone input feature allows the user to attach an external microphone to the device, which may be a good way to solve the problem posed by situations with loud background noise.
The Canon MD235’s 2.7-inch LCD screen can also be used as a video light when positioned to face forward, which can make subjects more visible in situations with darker lighting, the manufacturer added.
According to kikatek.com, the camcorder is comparable to other models such as the Canon DC201 DVD camcorder, the Canon HR10 ultra-compact digital DVD camcorder and the Sony DCR-SR55E 40 GB HDD handy cam, among others.
