One digital camera owner has professed his love for the Canon EOS 40D in a new article for the Canwest News Service.

In a piece posted on the Ottawa Citizen website, Darren Bernhardt states that were it legal and possible to get married to his beloved digital camera he would currently be on honeymoon.

“Sure, I’d get weird looks while snuggling up to my Canon EOS 40D on the beach or gazing longingly at it across a candlelit table, but who cares when you’re in love?,” Mr Bernhardt comments.

He adds that the Canon Eos 40D is equipped with the manufacturer’s 10.1-megapixel complementary metal oxide semiconductor sensor and this allows for a level of range and clarity that he states is exceptional.

The article concludes by suggesting that for those looking to upgrade from a basic point-and-click compact digital camera the digital single lens reflex-equipped Canon is a simple transition.

The manufacturer’s range of digital cameras also includes the ten-megapixel Canon Ixus 90 IS Silver.
