The Casio Exilim S880 has been described as “one of the slimmest digital cameras on the market” by a recent product review.

In an appraisal of the model on cameras. co. uk, the eight-megapixel model was also praised for its ease of use, which gives it the convenience of a point-and-shoot camera suited to consumers on the look out for a “straightforward, snapshot camera”.

Another strength of the camera, the review says, is its 2.8-inch LCD screen, which displays “key menu settings”, making them easy to check or adjust.

The camera also features a 3x optical zoom lens, face detection technology and auto-tracking autofocus, which can optimised sharpness, shadow and light for each shot.

In line with other cameras in the Casio Exilim range, the Casio Exilim S880 also comes with an “out of the box” YouTube capture mode, which allows users to shoot and upload video onto the social networking site without even having to log in.

Other cameras in the Casio Exilim collection include the Casio Exilim V8, the Casio Exilim S10 and the Casio Exilim Z1200.
