Kodak has added to its range of Easyshare digital cameras with a new model that the manufacturer claims is a “powerhouse”.

The series, which includes the 8.2-megapixel Kodak Easyshare Z812 IS and ten-megapixel Kodak Easyshare V1073, now has a new entry - the Kodak Easyshare M1093 IS.

It is claimed that the new camera will offer sleek design to impress fashion-conscious buyers, but will still offer a range of high quality features.

Commenting on the launch, Eastman Kodak Company’s general manager of digital capture and devices and vice president, John Blake, said the model would allow users to take the most “beautiful pictures”.

“The Smart Capture feature available on our latest digital cameras … lets consumers capture moments that would have otherwise been missed, thanks to its intuitive and automatic scene detection and setting control,” he said.

The Kodak Easyshare V1073 is another model that makes use of the manufacturer’s Smart Capture mode.
