The latest entry into Kodak’s range of digital cameras is a compact model that makes the most of the manufacturer’s image capture technology.

Incorporating Smart Capture - which Kodak state “instantly adjusts the camera settings to help ensure brilliant pictures in virtually any environment” - the Kodak Easyshare M1093 is expected to be available later in the year.

Slippery Brick reports that the new ten-megapixel model is equipped with image stabilisation and Kodak’s Retinar All-Glass Aspheric Lens as well as 3x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom.

However, it adds that one of the camera’s “most prevalent features” is Kodak Smart Capture and that blur reduction, face detection and a 3,200 ISO can also be expected.

Another 10-megapixel model in the Kodak range is the Kodak Easyshare V1073, which is also enabled for full high definition - or HD - photography and video.

The camera is available on its own as well as in range of packages that include memory cards and carry cases, among other accessories.
