Kodak’s latest image stabilisation and smart capture technology has the ability to produce brilliant pictures that could otherwise have been missed, according to one expert.

In a recent statement accompanying the launch of the Kodak Easyshare M1093, a spokesman for the company said the new system was giving photographers at all levels the chance to take great snaps.

The Smart Capture system, which is capable of instantaneous setting adjustment in order to capture the best result “in virtually any environment”, is something Kodak’s general manager of digital Capture and devices John Blake believes can benefit all users.

“The Smart Capture feature available on our latest digital cameras … lets consumers capture moments that would have otherwise been missed, thanks to its intuitive and automatic scene detection and setting control,” he said.

The Kodak Easyshare V1073 Black is a 10.1-megapixel model which is also equipped with a Smart Capture mode and image stabilisation.
