Now could be the time to buy your Kodak digital camera as the manufacturer has announced that price rises can be expected in the future.

The company has recently announced on its website that the rising cost of fuel, as well as raw materials including silver and aluminium, could cause some products to come with a higher price tag in the future.

It is noted that the rises would be dependent on geography and would not take effect until next month - which could causes some buyers to snap up a Kodak bargain while they are still hot.

The Guardian also reports that Kodak chief executive Antonio Perez believes that the as oil prices have “doubled” and aluminium and silver costs are up by around “75 per cent” more manufacturers are likely to follow.

It was recently reported that Which Frame? had awarded Kodak the title of Best Wi-Fi Frame and Best Multimedia Frame for its Easyshare panels.

Among the frames praised were the eight-inch EX811, ten-inch EX1011 and the seven-inch P720.
