LetsGoDigital has released a review of the Nikon Coolpix P80 digital camera.

The website said: “With the availability of the Nikon Coolpix P80, Nikon meet the demands of consumers; a demand that still exists in spite of the success of the digital SLR camera.”

The digital camera has ten megapixels, 18x optical zoom and measures 110 mm by 79 mm by 78 mm. Without batteries, the camera weighs 365 grams which is a lot less than a normal DSLR, according to the website.

A D-lighting editing function on the camera has also been included. This function automatically lightens dark areas in a picture to create a more natural look, without overwriting the original shot.

In addition, Nixon included a moveable sensor in the Coolpix P80 which LetsGoDigital described as a “true” image stabliser.

ABC news described the Coolpix P80 as the camera of choice if a customer wants something in-between one that is small enough to fit in their pocket and one that is large enough to take good quality indoor images without a flash.
