Samsung claims to be leading the field for innovation and quality with its range of digital cameras.

The manufacturer, which currently has models such as the 8.1-megapixel Samsung Digimax i8 Blue in its range, states that a new model pushes the boundaries of high definition (HD) photography.

It states that the NV 24HD offers “the world’s first 24mm ultra wide angle lens” and, according to Ashraf Sajid, general manager of audio visual products at Samsung’s Gulf Electronics division, sets a benchmark in the sector.

“Photographers of all levels will now be able to create high-quality video recordings at the touch of a button,” he added.

The Samsung NV 24HD is a 10.2-megapixel model that, in addition to the 24mm ultra wide angle lens, is equipped with Samsung’s Dream Engine image correction technology.

Samsung’s Digimax i8 Blue, on the other hand, features a 3x optical zoom, 2.7-inch LCD screen and DIS technology to tackle image clarity and colour degradation issues.
