Samsung is set to add to its range of compact digital cameras with four new models - one of which has a 14.7-megapixel sensor.
The manufacturer announced this week that for the second half of 2008, the Samsung TL34HD will be launched alongside its TL9, SL310W and SL201 models.
It is reported that in addition to a 14.7-megapixel sensor, the Samsung TL34HDwill be equipped with a Schneider lens that has a 28mm wide-angle focal lens capable of 3.6x optical zoom.
“The TL34HD promises sharp, clear and detailed images with every shot … [and] builds upon the success of its predecessor, the NV24HD,” the manufacturer claims.
In addition, dual image stabilisation, an all-metal build, three-inch LCD touch-screen technology and Samsung’s Smart Touch 2.0 user interface are also included in the model - which is available in black or silver with red accent.
The Samsung Digimax S760 is currently available for under £60 and with a pixel count of 7.2 million could be an option for those on a stricter budget.
