Samsung EX1 Digital Camera released

The new Samung EX1 is described by Samsung as being “specially designed for today’s advanced photographers”. It has clearly been created as a direct rival to the Panasonic Lumix LX3 and Canon Powershot G11. The EX1 boasts an extra wide 24mm F1.8 Schneider lens. The optical zoom is small at 3x but this is the same as all in its category. The Samsung EX1 also has a smart auto mode, 3″ swivelling LCD screen, face detection, auto red-eye fix, blink detection, beauty shot, smile detection and dual image stabilisation. Most significantly though, the EX1 offers full manual controls and allows for RAW format recording.
All Samsung EX1 sold at UK Digital Cameras come with a free 2 Year Warranty, that is automatically upgraded to a 3 Year Warranty when bought with a case and memory card.
