A new website has been set up that could help those with digital cameras find a home for their shots.

MostPhotos. com has launched a new service where subscribers will be able to upload their images to a database of photos and other people will get the opportunity to buy them.

The idea is that with an increasing number of people owning digital cameras that allow them to take high quality shots, a stock site which is boosted by an associated community.

Arian Bharami, founder and chief executive of MostPhotos. com, said: “With today’s cameras, just about anyone can take a great picture that sells,” adding that the purpose of the site was to bring these images to a global audience.

MostPhotos. com is currently receiving between 1,000 and 1,500 images every day and could soon be one of the largest stock photo sites around.

For those looking to take the most professional shots, the ten-megapixel Olympus SP-570UZ could be an option.
