The Sony Cybershot DSC-HX1 is a high-zoom, high-speed compact camera. It has a 9.1 million pixel CMOS sensor, a 28mm wide angle lens and and a whopping 20x optical zoom. It’s 1080p HD video shooting at 30fps is a great feature, as is it’s Sweep Panorama mode allowing the capture of extra-wide landscapes. The Cybershot HX1 also boasts a 3.0″ tilt-angle LCD, optical steadyshot, enhanced face detection, intelligent scene recognition and full in-camera re-touching functions.
The Sony Cybershot HX1’s main competitors are the Canon Powershot SX10, Panasonic Lumix FZ38 Black, Nikon Coolpix P90, Kodak Easyshare Z980 Black and Casio Exilim FH20.
