Sony have released the Sony Cybershot W290. The Sony W290 takes 12 Megapixel images, has a huge 3” LCD screen and a 5x optical zoom which is great for a camera so slim. It features a top quality Carl Zeiss lens. The Sony W290 Silver and Sony w290 Black are now in stock for under £200.

The Sony DSC-W290 is a compact, robust camera that’s packed with features, including a 12.1-megapixel sensor, smile and face detection and tracking technology, guaranteeing pictures turn out perfectly every time. Intelligent scene recognition gets exposure just right, while the sensitivity range of up to 3200 ISO means you can capture frame-worthy shots even when lighting isn’t to your advantage.

Meanwhile, the DSC-W290’s BIONZ processor and Clear RAW NR digital noise reduction feature prevent darkness from ruining your snaps. The optical stabiliser reduces blur, and the Zeiss lens, with a 28-140mm zoom (35mm equivalent), captures every last detail.
