A new 10.1-megapixel from Sony claims to be a “photo album in your pocket”.

The Sony Cybershot DSC-T700 was announced by the manufacturer this week and in addition to a 3.5-inch touchscreen and a host of features the camera has an integrated 4GB memory.

Sony claims that this is enough storage to store up to 40,000 photos and in addition to this have included a range of album functions that make saving, organising and sharing images easier.

Smile Shutter, Face Detection and Anti-Blink technology is included in the digital camera and five colour options - black, silver, gold, pink and red - have been chosen to finish the unit.

“The [Sony Cybershot DSC-T700] is smarter than your average photo album. All your pictures are stored in handy folders, so it’s easy to manage your memories and track down that special shot in moments,” Sony claims.

Other models in the range include the 8.1-megapixel Sony Cybershot T70 which is equipped with a 3x optical zoom and three-inch LCD screen.
